Colts Practice Update: Key Players Remain Absent
The Indianapolis Colts had a mixed practice session on Thursday, with some players returning while key starters remained absent.
Tight end Tyler Warren, dealing with a groin injury, and cornerback Sauce Gardner, who has a calf issue, did not participate for the second consecutive day. Head coach Shane Steichen noted that Warren is making progress, and Gardner's injury is not as severe as a previous calf issue, but their absence raises doubts about their readiness for the upcoming game against the Vikings.
In contrast, wide receiver Keenan Allen, linebacker Bryce Boetticher, guard Matt Goncalves, tight end Drew Ogletree, defensive tackle Jerry Tillery, cornerback Justin Whalley, and cornerback Charvarius Ward all returned to practice. Linebacker CJ Allen and wide receiver Ashton Dulin were limited participants, while wide receiver Anthony Gould, punter Rigoberto Sanchez, and defensive tackle Grover Stewart did not practice.
