Colts Waive Cornerback Mekhi Blackmon, Sign Kenneth Harris
The Indianapolis Colts have announced the waiver of cornerback Mekhi Blackmon from their 91-man roster.
In a roster move, the team has signed cornerback Kenneth Harris to fill the vacancy left by Blackmon. Last season, Blackmon played extensively for the Colts due to injuries after being acquired from the Vikings in a preseason trade.
Blackmon, who is 27 years old, was drafted in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Vikings. He signed a four-year contract worth $5.3 million, entering the third year of that deal with the Colts. In 2025, he participated in all 17 games, recording 64 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, two interceptions, and seven pass deflections.
