Commanders Announce Six Roster Changes Including New Signings

The Commanders have executed six roster changes, which include the signing of guard Max Scharping, as reported by Adam Schefter.

Alongside Scharping, the team has added veteran offensive linemen Daniel Brunskill and Nicholas Petit-Frere. In conjunction with these signings, the Commanders have released wide receiver Chris Hilton Jr. and guard Timothy McKay, and placed defensive tackle D.J. Davidson on the reserve/retired list.

Scharping, who was drafted by the Texans in 2019, has had a varied career, including stints with the Bengals and Steelers. He was recently on Washington's practice squad before being signed to the active roster.
