Commanders Make Roster Changes, Release Will Harris and Place Drake Jackson on IR
The Commanders have made significant roster changes, including the signing of linebacker Boogie Basham and the release of safeties Will Harris and Malik Spencer. These moves were announced on Tuesday morning.
Will Harris, who started all nine games he played last season, recorded 38 tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble. Meanwhile, linebacker Drake Jackson, a second-round pick by the 49ers in 2022, has been placed on injured reserve after participating in three games for Washington.
To complete their roster adjustments, the Commanders signed safeties Joshuah Bledsoe and Quindell Johnson. Bledsoe previously played two seasons with the Patriots after being drafted in the sixth round in 2021, while Johnson went undrafted earlier this year.
