Commanders Place Jacory Croskey-Merritt on Injured Reserve
The Washington Commanders have placed running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt on injured reserve, which will keep him out for a minimum of four games due to a groin injury.
Croskey-Merritt was ruled out for the game against the 49ers prior to the match on Saturday. In his absence, the team will rely on running backs Austin Ekeler, Rachaad White, and Jeremy McNichols, who was activated from injured reserve on the same day.
Additionally, the Commanders activated cornerback Trey Amos and linebacker Jordan Magee, both of whom were previously listed as questionable. To accommodate these changes, linebacker Javontae Jean-Baptiste was placed on injured reserve, and linebacker Austin Keys was waived. Linebacker T.J. Maguranyanga was promoted from the practice squad to complete the roster adjustments.
