Conan Lycan Signs WWE ID Deal After Independent Wrestling Journey
Conan Lycan has officially signed a WWE ID contract, advancing his career in professional wrestling after years on the independent scene. The announcement was made during the Oct. 7 episode of WWE EVOLVE, where AJ Styles informed Lycan of the signing.
Lycan began his wrestling career in late 2018 and has gained recognition by competing for various promotions, including ETU and Limitless Wrestling, and has held the CSW Heavyweight Championship three times. His connection with WWE has been growing, as he participated in NXT dark matches and attended WWE tryouts around SummerSlam.
Before wrestling, Lycan played Division I football at the University at Albany and later trained at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy. His journey included working as a personal trainer while traveling extensively for wrestling gigs. His profile rose further after competing on Season 2 of Beast Games, where he finished seventh out of 210 contestants. With the WWE ID deal, Lycan is set to continue his development in wrestling.
