He mentioned a specific incident during joint practices with the Texans, where receiver Malik Benson ran the wrong route, contributing to a pick-six thrown by quarterback Kirk Cousins. Additionally, Benson struggled with dropped passes that could have converted crucial third downs.

As the Raiders prepare for their preseason finale against the San Francisco 49ers, Kubiak has yet to confirm his starting quarterback for Week 1. Reports suggest that Cousins is likely to start, but concerns about the receiving corps' performance could lead to a quick change to rookie Fernando Mendoza if the situation does not improve.
