
Connor Zilisch Joins Hendrick Motorsports on Multi-Year Deal
Connor Zilisch, a young racer who won 10 O’Reilly Series races last year, has signed a multi-year deal with Hendrick Motorsports, set to take effect after the 2027 season. Currently, Zilisch is competing as a rookie in the NASCAR Cup Series, where he is positioned 34th in the standings.
As part of this transition, Zilisch will replace Alex Bowman, who has announced his retirement following the upcoming season. Hendrick Motorsports will continue its partnership with Ally, which will sponsor the No. 48 car. Team owner Rick Hendrick expressed confidence in Zilisch's abilities and character, emphasizing the importance of bringing him into the organization.
Zilisch, who joined Trackhouse Racing in January 2024, expressed his excitement about the opportunity, highlighting the significance of driving for a prestigious team like Hendrick Motorsports and the chance to work with top drivers in the sport.
