Conor McGregor May Transition to Bare-Knuckle Boxing After UFC Contract
Conor McGregor is likely to shift to bare-knuckle boxing after fulfilling his final fight under his UFC contract, according to BKFC chairman Dave Feldman.
The former two-division champion has one remaining bout with the UFC, but an ACL and meniscus injury from his recent match against Max Holloway will prevent him from competing until at least 2027. McGregor recently underwent surgery and must focus on recovery before returning to the ring.
Feldman noted that McGregor, who has a stake in BKFC and has shown interest in fighting for the organization, is eager to complete his UFC obligations. He emphasized that McGregor's future in BKFC hinges on the outcome of his last UFC fight and his ability to recover without further injuries.
