Conor McGregor Undergoes Knee Surgery Following UFC 329 Injury

Conor McGregor, a prominent UFC fighter, has recently undergone surgery to address a knee injury incurred during his UFC 329 match against Max Holloway.

The injury, which appeared to involve a torn ACL and meniscus in his right knee, occurred just over a minute into the fight, leading to an early stoppage and cutting short McGregor's return to the Octagon.

This incident represents another setback for the 38-year-old athlete, who has faced several significant injuries throughout his career. Although a lengthy rehabilitation process is anticipated following the surgery, McGregor has expressed his intention to compete again during UFC International Fight Week in 2027. UFC CEO Dana White has suggested that McGregor may be out for approximately a year, but the fighter is already concentrating on his recovery.
