Coventry City Hosts Newcastle United in Premier League Clash

Coventry City is set to face Newcastle United in a Premier League match at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Monday. The hosts, currently second from the bottom, are looking to secure their second consecutive win after recently defeating Nottingham Forest.

Coventry has made two changes to their lineup, bringing back Milan van Ewijk from injury and including Sidiki Cherif, while Stephen Mfuni and Frank Onyeka move to the bench. Several players, including Kaine Kesler-Hayden and Haji Wright, are sidelined due to injuries.

Newcastle United, sitting in 11th place, has made one change, with Nico Gonzalez returning from a concussion. Joelinton is also back in the squad for the first time this season. The Magpies aim to improve their standing, needing a win to potentially rise to fourth place.
