
Coventry City Signs Sidiki Cherif from Fenerbahce
Coventry City has announced the signing of 19-year-old forward Sidiki Cherif from Turkish club Fenerbahce on a long-term contract. Cherif, originally from Guinea, moved to France at the age of five and has previously played for Angers.
Last season, Cherif made 12 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig, scoring two goals. He joined Fenerbahce from Angers on loan with an obligation to buy. Coventry City has been active in the transfer market, supporting manager Frank Lampard with several signings.
