Coventry Hosts Newcastle in Premier League Clash

Coventry City will host Newcastle United on October 12 at the CBS Arena, aiming to continue their momentum after securing their first Premier League win in 25 years against Nottingham Forest.

Frank Lampard's team achieved a 1-0 victory on September 19, marking a significant milestone for the club. Despite this success, Lampard expressed a desire for further improvement, noting that his players have shown potential but need to build on their performance.

Newcastle, under coach Matthias Jaissle, is also looking to maintain their form following a 2-1 win over Hull City. Jaissle acknowledged Coventry's recent confidence but emphasized that his team can be difficult to beat if they perform well. Both teams are expected to have key players returning from injury, with Coventry's Milan van Ewijk potentially making a comeback.
