Cowboys Add QB Kyle Trask to Practice Squad
The Dallas Cowboys have signed quarterback Kyle Trask to their practice squad after losing Joe Milton, who joined the Philadelphia Eagles this week. Milton's move came after Eagles starter Jalen Hurts was ruled out for the season.
Trask, who was a second-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021, spent training camp with the Carolina Panthers but has been a free agent since being released on August 30. He has played in seven games for the Buccaneers, completing 4 of 11 passes for 28 yards.
In addition to signing Trask, the Cowboys promoted safety Juanyeh Thomas from the practice squad to the active roster and waived cornerback Caelen Carson as part of the roster adjustments.
