Cowboys Add RB Tyler Goodson from Falcons Practice Squad
The Dallas Cowboys have signed running back Tyler Goodson from the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad to their 53-man roster.
Goodson, who is 25 years old, initially joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Green Bay Packers after the 2023 draft. He had a brief stint on the Packers' practice squad before being waived due to an injury in September. Following this, he spent time on the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad and signed a one-year extension with them for 2025, although they did not tender him as a restricted free agent this offseason.
Goodson signed with the Falcons on a one-year deal in March. During the 2025 season, he played in 11 games for the Colts, recording nine rushing attempts for 24 yards and two receptions for eight yards.
