Cowboys Defensive Coordinator Christian Parker Critiques Filming of Practices
Christian Parker, the new defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys, has voiced his disapproval of media and fans filming training camp practices. He described the practice as 'weird' and stated he is not a fan of it.
During a recent broadcast, Parker's concerns were highlighted after a full practice was streamed online. His superior, Brian Schottenheimer, however, does not share this sentiment, emphasizing that the filming does not significantly impact their strategies, as playbooks are widely known.
Parker's apprehension stems from his previous coaching experiences, where he utilized footage from Cowboys practices to prepare for games against them. He noted that early in the season, teams look for insights that could provide a competitive edge, making the filming of practices a concern for him now that he is part of the Cowboys organization.
