Cowboys Sign Von Miller, Jerry Jones Open to Further Moves
The Dallas Cowboys finalized an agreement with veteran outside linebacker Von Miller on Sunday, with plans for him to join training camp on Monday night and begin preparations on Tuesday.
B.T. Jordan, a pass rush consultant for the Cowboys, has endorsed Miller, who recorded nine sacks last season while participating in 37 percent of the defensive snaps across 17 games. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expressed confidence in Miller's potential impact, citing Jordan's positive feedback about Miller's fitness and agility.
Despite the addition of Miller, Jones indicated that the Cowboys are still considering a significant trade for another defensive player. He expressed optimism about the team's prospects and willingness to make moves that could enhance their chances of competing for a Super Bowl title.
