Creative Ice Cream Flavors Inspired by Coach Matt Campbell

The Berkey Creamery at Penn State is considering new ice cream flavors inspired by football head coach Matt Campbell as the season approaches. Staff members have proposed various creative ideas for a signature scoop that reflects Campbell's influence.

Among the suggestions are a creamy s'mores flavor featuring chocolate shavings and graham crackers, and a cannoli-cream flavor with pieces of cannoli shell, mini chocolate chips, and fudge swirl. Other ideas include a Tomato Soup flavor, a nod to Campbell's burger at The Field Burger & Tap, and a Peanut Butter Chocolate Butterscotch inspired by the classic dessert Scotcheroos.

Additionally, a cotton candy flavor could connect to Campbell's game day tradition of chewing cotton candy-flavored gum. The staff is eager to see which flavor Campbell will choose as his signature scoop at the Creamery.
