CricViz Analyzes DRS Success Rates and Player Partnerships

CricViz has released statistical insights regarding the Decision Review System (DRS) and player performances in Test cricket, following a request for data from BBC Sport readers during England's first Test against Pakistan.

Among the findings, Bangladesh's Liton Das has the highest DRS success rate among batters, with 68.8% of his reviews resulting in overturned decisions. In contrast, West Indies' Kemar Roach leads among bowlers with a 35% success rate. Additionally, Joe Root has now formed 50-plus run partnerships with 45 different partners, tying him for the most in Test history.

Other notable statistics include Josh Tongue's attempts at hat-tricks, with a low conversion rate of 3.2% for bowlers who take two wickets in two balls. The analysis also highlighted that left-handed batters generally have better averages than their right-handed counterparts across all formats.
