Cristian Perez Set for UFC Debut Against Kyle Nelson

Cristian Perez, a recent graduate of Dana White's Contender Series, is scheduled to make his UFC debut against Kyle Nelson at UFC Fight Night: Buckley vs Malott on October 17 in Edmonton, Canada. Perez secured his spot on the UFC roster after defeating Logan Paxton in his second appearance on the Contender Series, nearly a year after his previous loss to Manoel Sousa.

The young fighter reflects on his earlier experience, noting the importance of pacing himself during fights. He views his upcoming match against Nelson, a seasoned fighter with 12 UFC appearances, as a significant opportunity to advance his career. Perez aims to showcase his skills and believes a victory will help propel him up the rankings.

Despite the quick turnaround from his last fight in August, Perez is focused and ready for the challenge. He expresses his ambition to become a UFC world champion and is eager to face as many opponents as necessary to achieve that goal.
