Cristiano Ronaldo Hints at Retirement After Current Season
Cristiano Ronaldo has suggested that he might retire from football at the conclusion of this season. The 41-year-old made this statement after competing in his sixth World Cup, which he confirmed would be his last.
During the tournament held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, Portugal was eliminated in the round of 16 by Spain. Ronaldo has achieved significant milestones in his career, including being the first player to score in six World Cups and accumulating 11 goals across 27 World Cup appearances.
Despite his age, Ronaldo continues to perform well, scoring frequently for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. He remains under contract with the club until 2027 and is close to reaching 1,000 career goals. His illustrious career includes five Ballon d'Or awards, five Champions League titles, and numerous league titles across England, Spain, and Italy.
