Cristiano Ronaldo Scores for Al-Nassr in Return to Saudi Pro League
Cristiano Ronaldo marked his return to Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League with a goal during his first match since the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The game took place on Friday, where Ronaldo scored in the 83rd minute, just 22 minutes after being substituted in.
Receiving a pass from Ayman Yahya on the right wing, Ronaldo skillfully shielded the ball before finding the net with his left foot. This goal is notable as it is his first of the 2026-27 Saudi Pro League season and the 977th of his career.
Al-Nassr had previously opened the season with a 3-0 victory over Al Fateh and currently leads the league standings. Ronaldo, who has expressed intentions to retire at the end of the season, has a contract with the club that runs until June 2027.
