Cruz Montana Discusses Transition from TNA to WWE
Cruz Montana, formerly known as Mike Santana, has discussed the notable differences he has experienced while working for WWE after transitioning from TNA. After parting ways with TNA earlier this year, he began appearing for WWE NXT last year, coinciding with the partnership between the two promotions.
Montana reflected on his first day at WWE, recalling the event Battleground on May 25, where he observed the operations of the organization. He emphasized the structured nature of WWE, which he finds appealing compared to other promotions he has worked for. Montana appreciates the routine and organization that WWE maintains, treating it as a professional television show that aims to convey emotions effectively through its broadcasts.
Since signing with WWE NXT in July 2026, Montana has been pursuing the NXT title held by Tony D’Angelo, expressing his enthusiasm for adapting to new environments and challenges.
