Cruz Montana, a rising star in WWE NXT, has identified retired wrestler AJ Styles as his ultimate dream opponent. Montana, previously known as Mike Santana, shared his aspirations during an interview with Complex Graps.

Montana reflected on his career and the current roster, noting that he has faced many wrestlers but still wishes for a match against Styles, who retired in January 2026. He had hoped for a cross-promotional bout in 2025, which never materialized due to potential implications for WWE's main roster.

In addition to Styles, Montana expressed interest in competing against current WWE talents like CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, emphasizing his eagerness to learn from every match, regardless of his opponent's experience. Currently, Montana is set to challenge for the NXT Championship at the upcoming NXT Heatwave event.
