Crystal Palace Draws 2-2 with Besiktas in Europa League Match

Crystal Palace faced Besiktas in a UEFA Europa League match, ending in a 2-2 draw in Istanbul. The game saw Wilfred Ndidi score first for Besiktas just before halftime, despite Palace's earlier attempts to take the lead.

After the break, Yeremy Pino equalized for Palace, benefiting from a VAR review that overturned an offside call. Jean-Philippe Mateta then put Palace ahead with a powerful finish, marking his first goal since last season's UEFA Conference League final. However, Junior Olaitan equalized for Besiktas in the 73rd minute.

The match saw Umit Akdag receive a red card for a two-footed tackle on Jorgen Strand-Larsen, but Besiktas managed to hold on for the draw despite being a man down.
