Crystal Palace Nears Signing of Anan Khalaili from Union SG
Crystal Palace is close to finalizing the transfer of Anan Khalaili from Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise. The 21-year-old midfielder is anticipated to complete his move to the Eagles within the next week, with reports indicating a transfer fee around £21 million.
Khalaili had a productive season, making 52 appearances across all competitions, during which he scored six goals and provided six assists. As an Israel international, he also gained valuable experience playing in the Champions League, which will benefit Crystal Palace as they prepare for their Europa League campaign.
In addition to Khalaili, Crystal Palace has been active in the transfer market, having signed defenders Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oscar Mingueza on free transfers. The club is also reportedly set to acquire 19-year-old winger Zavier Gozo from Real Salt Lake, while Brennan Johnson is expected to join Everton in a swap deal involving Dwight McNeil.
