Pierre Sage, the manager of Crystal Palace, addressed speculation regarding Ismaila Sarr's potential transfer to Liverpool, stating that leaving the club will not be straightforward for the player.

Palace reportedly rejected a £50 million bid from Liverpool for Sarr, who is currently sidelined with a groin injury and has a contract that runs until 2029. Sage expressed confidence that Sarr will remain with the team, emphasizing the difficulty of leaving under such circumstances.

Additionally, Sage commented on striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, who has also been linked with a move away from the club. Despite previous contract disputes, Sage noted that Mateta appears content and committed to the team, indicating he expects both players to stay at Palace for the upcoming season.
