Curtis Jones Transfers to Inter Milan for $40 Million

Curtis Jones has finalized his transfer from Liverpool to Inter Milan for a fee of 35 million euros, equivalent to $40 million, as of Friday.

The agreement includes an upfront payment of 30 million euros and an additional 5 million euros in potential add-ons. Liverpool has also secured a 10 percent sell-on clause for any future transfer.

Jones, who joined Liverpool's academy at the age of nine, made his first-team debut in 2019 and accumulated 228 appearances, including 49 last season. Despite his contributions, he expressed dissatisfaction with his limited playing time, having started only 18 Premier League matches last season. With one year left on his contract, he communicated his desire to leave to the new coach, Andoni Iraola.
