Daisy Ackerman and Ellie-Mai Sanford Aim for Promotion with Gwalia United

Daisy Ackerman and Ellie-Mai Sanford have reunited at Gwalia United, aiming to secure promotion from the fourth tier of English football. Both players have a background in high-level academies, with Ackerman previously at Arsenal and Sanford having trained at Bristol City.

Gwalia United has started the season strongly, remaining unbeaten in their first four matches. Their recent performance included a 1-1 draw against Cheltenham in the League Cup, where Molly Kehoe scored her second goal of the season.

Sanford, who has represented Wales at various age levels, aspires to earn a senior call-up while focusing on the club's promotion goals. Ackerman, despite currently being injured, brings valuable experience from her time at top clubs and aims to contribute to Gwalia's success.
