Dakota Ditcheva sustained injuries to both hands during her recent victory over Denise Kielholtz at PFL New York, marking a challenging return to the ring after a year-long hiatus due to previous hand injuries.

In the fight, Ditcheva outperformed Kielholtz, winning by unanimous decision, but revealed that she fought with broken hands, feeling the pain from the second round onward. She chose not to inform her corner about the injuries until after the match.

Ditcheva, who has an unbeaten record of 16 fights, indicated that one injury stemmed from a previous decision to forgo surgery, while the other was a minor fracture. She expressed determination to recover quickly, stating that this setback will not end her career.
