Dallas Cowboys Sign Quinnen Williams to Major Three-Year Extension

The Dallas Cowboys have taken significant steps to bolster their defense by extending defensive lineman Quinnen Williams with a three-year, $105.9 million deal. This agreement was reached on Monday and positions Williams among the highest-paid defensive linemen in the NFL.

Williams was acquired from the New York Jets prior to the 2025 NFL trade deadline and had two years left on his previous contract. With this extension, he will remain with the Cowboys for an additional three seasons, bringing his total contract value to five years and $153.15 million, including $101 million guaranteed.

Last season, the Cowboys struggled defensively, ranking low in multiple categories. Williams, known for his ability to disrupt plays and pressure quarterbacks, is expected to play a crucial role in improving the team's performance. The Cowboys are also focusing on building their defense further, having selected safety Caleb Downs in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
