Damian Priest Joins Voice Cast of Marvel Rivals Game

Marvel Rivals, a competitive video game that has gained popularity since its launch in December 2024, will add The Hood to its playable roster this week. The character will be voiced by WWE star Damian Priest, known for his previous title as WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

The Hood is set to join the game on August 7 and will serve as a Vanguard character, a role similar to a tank. He will be equipped with ranged attacks and the ability to switch between two forms. Players can hear Priest's voice in various in-game call-outs as The Hood.

This marks Priest's second attempt to engage with a Marvel project, as he previously auditioned for the role of Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. He later indicated that his involvement was hindered by someone within WWE. Namor is also part of Marvel Rivals and features an alternate skin inspired by Tenoch Huerta, who portrayed the character in the film.
