Dan Sheehan to Start at Number Eight for Leinster Against Munster
Leinster captain Dan Sheehan is set to start at number eight for the first time during the United Rugby Championship derby against Munster on Saturday at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
This change is part of four adjustments made by head coach Leo Cullen following Leinster's recent 48-23 victory over Clermont Auvergne. Ireland scrum-half Jamison Gibson-Park will also make his season debut, while Joey Carbery earns his first start since returning to Leinster. Ronan Kelleher and Jamie Osborne have been included in the starting lineup, with Kelleher taking over the hooker position from Sheehan.
Leinster aims to secure consecutive URC wins after recovering from initial defeats against the Lions and Sharks. They currently hold eight points from three league matches. In contrast, Munster has made seven changes to their lineup after a recent win against Racing 92, with Shane Daly returning from injury and Sean O'Brien set to make his 50th appearance for the team.
