Dana White Addresses Tom Aspinall's Future with UFC
Dana White has confirmed that his relationship with heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall is strong, despite recent rumors regarding the fighter's future with the UFC.
During an interview with Barstool Sports' Spinning Backfist, White stated that Aspinall will return to competition once he is healthy, emphasizing that he is not leaving the organization. This clarification follows comments made by Aspinall's striking coach, Stipe Drviš, who hinted at a potential departure during a live stream.
Aspinall has been sidelined since suffering an eye injury in October 2025. Following that incident, he expressed dissatisfaction with White's remarks about his situation. Additionally, Aspinall has recently signed with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom talent agency, which has indicated that he was underpaid as a champion. White did not provide a specific timeline for Aspinall's return but mentioned that a rematch with Ciryl Gane for the heavyweight titles is a likely next step once Aspinall is cleared to fight.
