Dana White Awards Record Six UFC Contracts at Contender Series
During Week 2 of Contender Series Season 10 at the Meta APEX, Dana White awarded a record six UFC contracts, describing the event as one of the best in the show's history.
Since its inception in July 2017, fighters from the Contender Series have collectively earned $225.3 million. Brazilian welterweight Kaik Brito concluded the event with a third-round knockout of Namo Fazil, delivering a significant overhand right that White noted as one of the year's top finishes. White commended Brito for his composure against a resilient opponent.
Additionally, Cristian Perez received a contract, continuing Mexico's legacy of producing exciting fighters for the UFC. Roman Puga and Taner Trembley also earned contracts, with Trembley securing his despite a loss in his match. The next Contender Series event is scheduled for the following Tuesday at the Meta APEX.
