Dana White Envisions UFC Event in Hawaii with New Arena

A UFC event in Hawaii may soon become a reality, according to UFC CEO Dana White. He discussed the possibility during an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, highlighting the significance of Hawaiian fighters in the organization.

The construction of a new arena in Halawa, Oahu, is expected to facilitate this development. The New Aloha Stadium will accommodate 31,000 spectators and is projected to be completed by March 2029. White noted that despite Hawaii being a major market for the UFC, the existing infrastructure has previously hindered events.

White mentioned that the long-awaited UFC event in Hawaii would attract significant interest, especially given the state's history of producing champions like Max Holloway and B.J. Penn. He emphasized the appeal of hosting the event in such a desirable location.
