Dana White Open to Lightweight Opportunity for Alexander Volkanovski

Dana White has expressed that the UFC is likely to support Alexander Volkanovski's desire for another opportunity in the lightweight division. This comes as Volkanovski prepares to face undefeated contender Movsar Evloev in Abu Dhabi this Saturday.

Volkanovski, the current featherweight champion, has indicated that he has unfinished business at lightweight, despite other contenders in his division. He has mentioned a potential retirement fight against Justin Gaethje, suggesting that both fighters could vacate their titles to avoid holding up their respective divisions.

In a recent interview, White acknowledged Volkanovski's accomplishments and stated that the UFC would be open to accommodating his wishes at this stage in his career. However, he did not specifically address the possibility of a matchup between Volkanovski and Gaethje.
