In a recent interview, White discussed the potential for a fight between Shavkat Rakhmonov and Michael Morales, noting that while it hasn't been finalized, there are plans for significant announcements at the end of this year. He hinted at several exciting events scheduled for January and February 2027.

UFC 336 is planned for January 30, 2027, in Toronto, although specific matchups have yet to be confirmed. There are discussions about a middleweight title fight between Sean Strickland and Nassourdine Imavov, as well as a potential bout between Islam Makhachev and Carlos Prates. The latter has gained traction following Prates' callout of Makhachev, suggesting a strong possibility for their fight to headline UFC 336.
