Daniel Ricciardo Considers Le Mans Return with Max Verstappen
Daniel Ricciardo has indicated that he might consider a one-off return to racing at the Le Mans 24 Hours, naming his former Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen as a preferred partner for the event.
The Australian, who has not participated in a race since leaving Formula 1 after the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix, mentioned during an appearance on F1 Beyond the Grid that he would like to conclude his racing career on his own terms. He expressed a desire for a positive experience that would provide closure.
While Ricciardo is not interested in a full racing season, he sees the appeal of a single outing at Le Mans, particularly the opportunity to collaborate with teammates rather than compete against them. He noted that sharing a car with Verstappen would be a significant consideration, reflecting on their past discussions about racing together.
