Dante Moore Tops Preseason College Football QB Rankings
Dante Moore has been ranked as the top quarterback in the CBS Sports Quarterback Power Rankings for the 2026 college football season. His decision to return to Oregon instead of entering the NFL Draft is bolstered by a talented group of receivers, enhancing his prospects for the upcoming season.
Last year, despite facing injuries among his receiving corps, Moore threw for nearly 3,600 yards and led the Ducks to the College Football Playoff semifinals. This season, he will benefit from a deeper and healthier roster, including standout players like Evan Stewart, Jeremiah McClellan, and Dakorien Moore, along with tight end Jamari Johnson.
Moore's improved supporting cast is expected to help him exceed his previous season's performance of 3,565 yards and 30 touchdowns. Other notable quarterbacks in the rankings include Texas's Arch Manning and Ole Miss's Trinidad Chambliss, both of whom are also anticipated to have strong seasons.
