Darby Allin Discusses Mick Foley's Potential Return to Wrestling
Darby Allin, a star in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), recently commented on the possibility of Mick Foley returning to the ring. Foley, a former WWF Champion, last competed in a match during the 2012 Royal Rumble, with his final singles match occurring in 2010 against Ric Flair in TNA.
During an appearance on the Mark Hoke Show, Allin expressed that if the 61-year-old Foley feels compelled to wrestle again, he should pursue that opportunity. He referenced Sting's successful return to wrestling despite doubts about his ability to compete after a neck injury that led to his retirement in 2014.
While Allin supports Foley's potential return, he clarified that he would not wrestle against Foley if he chooses to come back. He mentioned that he would be open to teaming with Foley, similar to his feelings about Sting. Allin reflected on the importance of addressing any unresolved questions in a wrestler's career, as he believes Sting did when he returned.
