The incident took place in the third quarter of the game, which Sydney won decisively. It was classified as careless conduct with medium impact and high contact, leading to the suspension recommendation.

The Power are expected to make a decision regarding contesting the charge by the end of business on Monday. Gulden continued to play and had an impressive performance, recording 39 disposals and scoring a goal.
