Darren Till to Fight Yoel Romero at BKFC 94 with Torn ACL

Darren Till is set to compete against Yoel Romero at BKFC 94 on September 26, despite suffering from a torn ACL. The injury occurred after his fight with Luke Rockhold, and Till has been managing it since then.

Although he has not fought in MMA since December 2022, when he lost to Dricus Du Plessis, Till made a successful BKFC debut in May with a knockout victory over Aaron Chalmers. He plans to postpone surgery on his knee until after his bare-knuckle career, which may allow for a potential return to MMA in the future.

Romero, who is 49 years old, recently won against Alex Nicholson at the Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA event in June. The upcoming BKFC 94 event will take place at the AO Arena in Manchester.
