Bautista explained that while he was dedicated to wrestling, the expenses were significant. He mentioned that WWE only covered airfare, leaving him responsible for food, transportation, and accommodation. He struggled financially in the early years, often borrowing money and living in a small apartment even after becoming world champion in 2005.

Now retired from wrestling, Bautista expressed a preference for manual labor over returning to the wrestling business, indicating a clear desire to move on from his past career.
