Dave Bautista in Talks to Play Kratos in Amazon's God of War Series

Dave Bautista may soon portray Kratos in Amazon Prime Video's upcoming adaptation of God of War, as he is reportedly in negotiations for the role.

The former WWE star is being considered after Ryan Hurst, who was initially cast, suffered a serious bicep injury during filming and is expected to undergo a lengthy recovery. Production is anticipated to resume later this year, with filming set to begin in mid-October in Vancouver.

Bautista's physicality aligns well with the character of Kratos, a muscular warrior, and his experience in action roles, including his recent work in the Highlander movie, positions him as a strong candidate. He has previously collaborated with Amazon MGM Studios on several projects.
