David Anton Dominates Legends & Prodigies Tournament in Madrid

David Anton triumphed at the second edition of the Legends & Prodigies tournament held in Madrid, finishing with an unbeaten record and a lead of 1½ points over his competitors.

Anton began the tournament with a victory against Jose Cuenca Jiminez and maintained his lead through the rounds. After defeating Ivan Sokolov in the final round, he secured his position at the top, drawing all four games against his closest rivals.

Faustino Oro, competing in his first tournament as a grandmaster, finished in second place despite a loss to compatriot Diego Flores. Oro's performance rating of 2618 demonstrated his capability in a strong field. Ivan Sokolov and Diego Flores followed closely behind, finishing with 4 points each.
