Membou described facing Bailey as a significant test, highlighting his quickness and natural ability to rush the passer. Bailey previously recorded 14.5 sacks at Texas Tech, and the Jets are optimistic he can enhance a pass rush that struggled last season.

In other camp news, rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq was given a rest day after participating in the first three practices. Coach Aaron Glenn mentioned that defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat, defensive end Joseph Ossai, and cornerback D’Angelo Ponds are not expected to return to practice this week, but he anticipates they will not be sidelined for long.
