David Beckham and Jose Mourinho Honor Lionel Messi's International Retirement

Following Lionel Messi's retirement from international football, former England captain David Beckham praised the Argentine for inspiring millions of children globally. Beckham, who co-owns Messi's club Inter Miami, reflected on Messi's remarkable international career, during which he scored 125 goals in 207 appearances.

Messi led Argentina to victory in the 2022 World Cup and secured two Copa America titles in 2021 and 2024. Beckham expressed gratitude for witnessing Messi's journey, emphasizing the lasting legacy he leaves behind.

Jose Mourinho, the manager of Real Madrid, remarked on social media that future Copa America and World Cup tournaments will lack Messi's presence. Other former teammates, including Angel di Maria and Enzo Fernandez, shared their admiration for Messi, calling him the greatest of all time and expressing gratitude for the moments spent together on the field.
