David Coulthard Predicts Zandvoort's Exit from F1 Calendar

David Coulthard has stated that Formula 1 is unlikely to return to Zandvoort, attributing this to the circuit's physical limitations and increasing commercial demands.

The coastal track is set to host its last scheduled F1 event this weekend, following its return to the calendar in 2021 after a 35-year hiatus. The promoter has decided not to extend the contract beyond 2026.

Coulthard noted that the circuit is constrained by its surroundings, including a natural park, which limits expansion. He mentioned that Formula 1 is seeking venues that can meet its commercial needs, with other locations expressing interest in hosting races.
