David Moyes Confirms Lack of Communication with Everton Owner Dan Friedkin
Everton manager David Moyes has revealed that he has never met or communicated with club owner Dan Friedkin since his reappointment in January 2025. Friedkin, who leads The Friedkin Group, has not attended any home games since taking over the club in December 2024.
Moyes emphasized that his primary contact is chief executive Angus Kinnear, with Rishi Majithia, Friedkin's son-in-law, also involved in the club's operations. The manager expressed his commitment to Everton amidst a tumultuous transfer window, where fans reacted negatively to the club's decisions, including a failed transfer of midfielder Harrison Armstrong.
Despite the challenges, Moyes affirmed his dedication to the club, stating that he would not walk away from the opportunity to unify Everton, a team he previously led to multiple top-five finishes in the Premier League.
